BioCharacter history- Trip is from the far future, and during the year 3000 is when his life changed. The most dangerous mutant criminal in the world Ransik was captured by an organization called Time Force, an elite peacekeeping police force and Trip and his friends (Jen Scotts, Lucas Kendall and Katie Walker) were assigned to transfer the prisoner to be cryogenetically frozen. On their way they were attacked by Ransik's daughter Nadira and Frax a robot. They were fired for letting them escape but when Alex (Jen's fiance) engaged Ransik, he was dying from the fierce attack and told Jen to chase after Ransik who escaped through time. In grief, Jen agreed and stole a ship and followed Ransik, ending up in the year 2001.
Trip awoke and found the ship ready to explode, he quickly woke up the other Rangers before they were caught in the explosion. Afterwards, they attempted to capture Ransik but were unable to activate their morphers. Nadaira attacked but they were then saved by a familiar looking young man. This was Wes Collins, ancestor to Alex Collins. After finding out that the morphers wouldn't work without Wes, Jen tries to get him to work with her. It suceeeds eventually, and they were able to fight back.
Several months in and Trip, Wes, Jen, Lucas, Katie, and a psuedo-ally Eric fought Ransik and various mutant criminals he sent after them. In one encounter the demon Vypra returned and teamed up with Ransik. Trip and the others teamed up with Lightspeed Rescue Power Rangers who fought Vypra and other demons. They succeed in stopping the villians and the two teams swap jackets as sign of friendship. In the final battle with Ransik Trip is the second ranger after Katie to be taken down by Ransik and soon all is left is Jen. When Ransik accidently injures Nadira who was protecting a child, he surrenders to Jen. Trip and the others are forced then to leave and to return to their own time. After some teary goodbyes they leave, with Trip keeping his hat as a good luck charm.
In 2002 Trip, Lucas and Katie as well as Nadira and Ransik return to the past to join forces with the Wild Force Rangers, Wes, Eric, and Jen. (who was there on a secret mission to find the Mutorgs) With Ransik disabling the Mutorgs mutant DNA, and the twelve Rangers attacking the Orgs had no chance. Afterwards they saw Ransik had been turned into a human and they went to a picnic with everyone celebrating their victory. This was Trip's last Power Ranger battle, but over the next six years kept in contact with Wes and Eric as well as the Lightspeed Rangers.
